To check which Forums you are currently a member of, please visit the Membership tab on your Fellow profile. Or to update your membership of, or your role within a Forum, please fill in the form below.

Via this form, you can update your membership in ATSE's Forums, and confirm your role within the Forum.

Forum membership roles

Each Forum is led by a Chair and Deputy-Chairs. Fellows can take part in the forums either as a Reference Member or a Forum Member.

A Reference Member is a Fellow who maintains their expertise in the topic of the Forum. This group of Reference Members will receive requests for policy advice and expertise from the Professional Staff. Reference Members are expected to be experts within the Forum, and agree to provide this expertise to ATSE projects when possible. All expertise provided is expected to be backed by rigorously sourced evidence. 

A Forum Member is a Fellow who is interested in the work of the Forum but does not identify as having expertise in this topic. Forum Members receive updates on the work and discussions of the Forum. This membership type allows Fellows to know what is happening in an area of interest without needing provide expertise in the topic.

It is up to Fellows to self-identify as a Forum Member or a Reference Member. Fellows can update their status from Reference member to Forum Member (or vice-versa) as they feel best suits them, by submitting updates through this web form.
